Our Catrine Clean Up campaign started in February 2023 with our Committee member John Paal starting to litter pick and tidy up Catrine, he was assisted by a few villagers and encouraged more volunteers :)

Our next meet was March 4th, we saw more of you fabulous volunteers and we collected over 80 bags of litter , loads of bottles, a few kitchen appliances, tyres and a bumper and we even made the local papers :)

We meet the first Saturday of the month at Catrine Games Hall 10am - 1.30pm, Litter picks/ Hi-Viz, bags and gloves provided.  Everyone more than welcome!

Under 16's must be supervised by an adult.

Our first community Clean Up Catrine day was on February 4th, and our fabulous volunteer clean up crew  collected 71+ bags of litter.

Our Next monthly Catrine Clean up is on the 1st of April, Games Hall 10am, and we have joined the Keep Scotland Beautiful "Big Spring Clean"  where volunteer groups all over Scotland are sharing their Clean ups online and on the Keep Scotland Beautiful web-site :) Catrine Clean Up Crew are on the map!

ALWAYS ensure your safety comes first when litter picking, avoid busy roads, always use gloves and litter picks, never lift anything that is too heavy.  Always work with others and not alone in the woodland areas  in case of accidents.  :)
